Northeast Florida Equestrian Society/H.O.R.S.E. Therapies, Inc. (NFES) is an IRS-registered 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation, also duly qualified and registered as a non-profit operation and solicitor by the State of Florida. NFES holds the management contract for the Jacksonville Equestrian Center from the City of Jacksonville. NFES has been in operation for 10 years and has been the JEC manager since October 1, 2014. NFES consists of a Board of Directors, an advisory board consisting of community leaders or advocates and a confirmed consultant list of experts in various fields of finance, law, event creation or planning, construction, security, operations, grants and donor solicitations. The JEC staff is well versed in all operations, maintenance, bookings and event management for all disciplines of equine events, community events and corporate events. They have participated in all events from equine to the NFL Super Bowl owner’s party, held at JEC. The staff is responsible for turnover, move in and move out of events weekly. Preferred contractors, vendors and trade agreements are in place for all aspects of events. As a non-profit corporation, NFES is positioned to accept donations for capital improvement and expansion.
